Used my wok for the first time, only took 6 months to get it out of storage and plug it in… Sizzlying awesome and Asian-ly delicious! But, the recipe I used, omg, so much sodium and not enough starch to soak it up. I feel the hypertension coarsing through my veins–
The holiday lunch outing for my work team was supposed to be at Kyoto but it got cancelled because one of the guys left work early sick that day, the manager was out, and the phones got really busy. We’ve never made it up and I’ve been jonesing for hibachi ever since. I have a half day on Friday and I’m absolutely determined to leave from there to Kyoto- he’s going to love it and my dad might meet us there. Great way to start the weekend early, I can’t wait!!
