Every so often, I drive passed a house or property that, for one reason or another, causes me to ask myself, ‘who lives there?’ Sometimes, the property is so overgrown and neglected, the real question is if anyone lives there at all, and if so, how? But usually my attention is drawn to homes that stand out with unique features, striking landscapes, and beautiful architecture. And, of course, there are mansions, not McMansions mind you, that simply leave me pondering what those people to for a living to afford such an estate. Is it old/family money, or is this a self-made individual that made some excellent life decisions right from the start?
One particular occurrence took place as I driving a new country route through a rather wooded area when suddenly the terrain opened up to manmade lake, complete with a considerable beach front.
While this scene had already taken me back in surprise, I was awestruck by the house that was situated on this rural oasis.
Driving along a quiet setback country road, some nice house sparsely dotted down the street but nothing out of the ordinary…

Because I always wondered to myself what type of person lives in these extravagant houses, I decided it was time to do just that. And the answer is, at least in this case, entrepreneur!
After some public record and Google searches, I determined that the owner is the proprietor of a company that specializes in SEO and online marketing. For s & g’s, I poked around on the business website and found myself on their job listing page. One of the questions asked in the intake form is, ‘Where did you hear about this job?’ I imagined submitting an application with the real answer or if I was candid in a job interview and whether my response would be applauded for being honest and original while also representing my resourcefulness, or if I would be seen as a creepy stalker and dismissed immediately…
